What impact can working in children's Social Care have?

Cleo, Children’s Social Worker talks about her inspirations to join Social Care and her route into her role

At Southend-on-sea City Council, we strive to establish real, trusting relationships with children, families and Carers to ensure that they’re safe and happy.

We spoke to Cleo, of Southend-on-sea City Council to find out how her experience of being a looked-after child in Social Care, inspired her to want to help children and families in the same way she was supported, by becoming a qualified Social Worker herself. Cleo also shares what she enjoyed the most from undertaking her degree in Social Work.
