At Southend-on-sea City Council, we strive to establish real, trusting relationships with children, families and Carers to ensure that they’re safe and happy.
We spoke to Cleo, of Southend-on-sea City Council to find out how her experience of being a looked-after child in Social Care, inspired her to want to help children and families in the same way she was supported, by becoming a qualified Social Worker herself. Cleo also shares what she enjoyed the most from undertaking her degree in Social Work.
